Individuals who have a history of sexual or violent offenses.Harassment or threatening language or behavior.Willing and able to live in a community with nearby neighbors and positively participate in Village life by contributing to the cleanliness of the Village, attending groups, and participating in programming offered through the Tiny Home Village.Willing to abide by the community agreements and Village mission of safety.Willing to work with THV case management on personal goals toward sustainable long-term housing, recovery or harm reduction (if applicable), and other goals as identified by the treatment team and the Villager.Able to live independently – prepare own meals, clean up after oneself, complete Village chores.Currently unhoused or precariously housed.Who Qualifies to Live at the Tiny Home Village? Case Managers will help Villagers identify resources and set a path to long-term housing and self-determination. While living in the Tiny Home Village, Villagers are required to work with the Village case management team to set and achieve goals. Staff and Villagers work together to organize group activities. All of the houses face the common spaces and main Village house. The Village is designed to encourage community living. Additionally, there is a community garden, BBQ grill, and dog park. ![]() Villagers have access to communal single stall bathrooms, a kitchen, and indoor/outdoor living space. and each home has its own heating/cooling unit, a queen-size bed, shelving, small refrigerator, and a desk. The Tiny Home Village is a community living space consisting of 30 tiny homes. Space at the Tiny Home Village is limited applicants may be added to a waitlist. The Tiny Home Village is an 18–24-month transitional housing program designed to build community and help residents achieve their goals toward more permanent housing. Community housing programs must be proactive and evidence-based/evidence-informed strive to reduce individual, family, and environmental risk factors increase resiliency enhance protective factors and achieve individual and comprehensive community wellness through a team or collaborative approach. Community housing enhances the independence, dignity, personal choice, and privacy of the individual. The services are focused on home and community integration and engagement in productive activities. The services provided are designed to assist clients to achieve success in and satisfaction with community living and propel them into a more stable and sustainable living situation. The Tiny Home Village is a transitional housing program. ![]()
